Once a While
There are some contents that contain valuable information to be carried throughout the life, and, unfortunately, we tend to forget things. That is why I have decided to put my "once a while" media in a dedicated page like this.
You and Your Research
When I wanted to buckle up and start doing science, I realized I did not know how to do it, properly at least. Seeking for advice and wisdom, I have seen references to this speech repeatedly. In this video, Richard Hamming eloquently puts forward a way of approaching the world around us. I find myself referring back to this speech to remind myself how a great scientist should think.
Here is the transcript of the speech.
How to Recover from Depression
Depression requires significant emotional awareness and aptitude to be handled properly. By learning to avoid leaning into thought patterns that lead to depression, content here has changed my life for the better. I think this is a very good emotional regulation education and is valuable for everyone.
Footnotes
I will keep adding to this list. If you have any such valuable contents that you consume "once a while", I would love to hear them! You can reach out via email provided in the footer.
